Hello Bar Takers!
As I write this post, the California Bar Exam is 33 days, 21 hours and 56 minutes away! This is a screen shot of our bar exam count down on BarNoneReview. I know that this bar exam count sown clock is probably a scary thing to see. But, it is incredibly important to know exactly how much time is left so that you can be sure to take advantage of every minute between now and the bar exam.
And how does one do that? We all have to eat, tend to our health, perhaps you have a family you are supporting or elderly parents you care for, a full time job or a part time job, kids that are in sports, little league, a house to keep clean, food to shop for and prepare. It is a lot to manage. But, now is the time to get whatever help you need with as many of your tasks as you can. Simply put, those who you have obligations to (including yourself) will benefit dramatically when you pass the bar exam. So, rally your family and friends and help them to understand that these next 33 days are critical. People who care about you will understand that you are not only doing this for yourself, but for those that depend upon you.
Do everything in your power to maximize your study efforts. This includes taking regular breaks, reviewing as many essays and released answers as you can, working on only the released MBEs, and taking good care of yourself.
Our next, and final, Bar Exam Cram Session for the February 2022 Bar Exam is on Saturday, February 5th. The Bar Exam Cram Session is a great resource. Not only does it include our Bar Exam Predictions (which are very detailed) it is a great review and coverage of approaches for the essays. You will receive the Bar Exam Cram Sheets with concise rule statements in the order of the approach for each topic. For example, Defamation usually requires a discussion of IIED, then Defamation and then either the Economic Torts (interference with contract and interference with prospective advantage) or the Privacy Torts (false light, public disclosure of private facts, intrusion into seclusion and misappropriation of name or likeness). The Privacy Torts are easy to identify. But, the Economic Torts are usually missed by most. The same is true for Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress. The problem with this is that without these issues addressed the answer will be a failing answer.
Every subject and subtopic on the California Bar Exam has these required nuances and hidden issues that simply do not appear in model answers provided by most bar prep companies. And, sadly, the outlines provided do not link these required insights together. You can certainly review Economic Torts and Privacy Torts in any good outline. But, no one seems to connect any of it for you. However, the Bar Exam Cram Session WILL connect the dots for you!
Knowing what the California Bar Examiners are looking for is the key to passing both the written portion and the MBE portion.
This is our focus during the Bar Exam Cram Session: connecting the dots and knowing what nuances are needed and required in a passing/above passing answer. The Bar Exam Cram Session always fills up, so if you want this coverage you should sign up as soon as you can. Once you sign up, your materials will be shipped to you within two days (for domestic shipping only) and you will receive the Predictions along with associated essays to reflect those predictions. Currently, the Predictions include three of the five essays. And in the coming days, the remaining two predicted essays will be completed and sent.
PREDICTIONS BUT, SO MUCH MORE
Examinees often gravitate to the Bar Exam Cram Session because they want to see the predictions and the selected essays. While the accuracy rate of the predictions has historically been excellent (five out of five essays for several years running and before that, six out of six essays). But, that is not the real reason you should choose the Bar Exam Cram Session. The real reasons are: you will learn the nuances that are not obvious, but embraced and required, by the California Bar Examiners to write a passing answer or above passing answer. You will also receive many essays to review, and a Ten Day Study Plan for the days leading up to the California Bar Exam. The session is motivating and engaging. Students often attribute their passing results to this final Bar Exam Cram Session!
Note: that the last day to sign up for the Bar Exam Cram Session is February 2, 2022. Also, we only ship domestic at this time.
I hope to see you over Zoom on Saturday, February 5th. Let’s make this bar exam your last!
All the best,
