I have some advice for anyone who is waiting for results. One of the most common questions I receive this time of year is whether or not to study while waiting for bar results. I do recommend studying some before bar results. I do not mean full time studying or giving up your weekends. Instead, dust off your materials and do a few MBEs, read an outline (only condensed outlines) and review some essays. I suggest re-opening your materials now. Put in one to two hours each week and continue to do that through the early part of November. If you get the results you are hoping for, you will not be upset over putting in some hours of studying. But, if you do not get passing results, you will be grateful that you put in some time reviewing.

For anyone who is planning on taking the February 2021 Bar Exam, I recommend beginning your studies in October. This is especially important for the MBE portion of the bar exam because it can take a long time to reach the score necessary to pass this section. Most examinees plan on putting in two months of studies. However, that is typically not enough time to perfect the MBEs. For tips on how to study for the MBEs, watch this video.

I will post more in the coming da

All the best,
