Did you take and fail, the California Bar Exam between July 2015 and February 2020? If so, you just may have passed!
While the California Supreme Court has remained silent on retroactivity of the cut score for the California Bar Exam from 1440 to 1390, it looks as though the California state legislature is applying the the new cut sore to all bar takers who took the bar exam between July 2015 and February 2020!
This is great news for students who narrowly missed the cut score of 1440. Repeat takers should pull up their scores from prior exams during this time period to see if they qualify for the retroactive application of the lowered cut score!
