California Bar Results

Hello all,

Congratulations to all who passed the February 2019 bar exam. I will provide my take on the statistics once the bar has made this public.

I want to thank all of you who follow this blog and I also want to thank my students who worked so hard. Here is a testimonial from one of our Score Maximizer students:

February 2019 Score Maximizer Student:

“I am an attorney taker, practicing since 2010. I was unsuccessful on the July 2018 bar exam. A friend recommended the Bar Exam Guru (Lisa Duncanson) to me. He had taken her program years ago. I am so grateful I took his advice. After studying with the Bar Exam Guru, the essays were like a Magic Eye puzzle: the issues popped of the page. I went into the exam with so much more confidence the second time, and left feeling like I had successfully applied the approach she taught me. I passed the February 2019 California bar exam and could not have without the Bar Exam Guru. I put the work in on my end, but I credit her for her methods and for giving me the approach I needed to succeed. The personalized study plans and exam grading were what I needed to put this exam behind me. I highly recommend Bar None Review .” Natasha F.

Stay tuned for study tips and advice on how to create a successful study plan.

Incidentally, I have no idea what a “Magic Eye” puzzle is, but you can be sure I am going to look it up right now 🙂

If you have not received good news this evening, please see this post about what to do if you did not pass the February 2019 bar exam.

All the best,

  1. THANK YOU LISA! My dream came true yesterday, I BECAME AN ATTORNEY. I was successful in law school and figured that I would have no problem with the Bar Exam. I took a nationally recognized bar prep course and didn’t pass the first or second time that I took the bar. I was devastated and looking for a solution. In comes Lisa and her tried and true methods to pass the bar exam. I met with Lisa once every two weeks and she created a study schedule tailored to my weakness–she pinpointed where I was weak on the essays and MBEs and gave me all the tools and tricks that I needed to pass the bar. I literally felt like passing was never going to happen after failing twice, but today I can finally say that I have passed and I am so glad that I invested in Lisa. Not only did I pass the bar, but I gained a really amazing friend in Lisa. She is a great support system and is encouraging through this process. I left our meetings feeling like I could take on the world–and I did! If you are debating whether or not you want to spend money on tutoring–stop thinking, and just say yes–Bar None Review is one of the best decisions of my life. Thank you Lisa and her amazing team!
