So in other news, news unrelated to the bar exam, I am speaking at a Med Tech Marketing Summit. I do not have a background in med tech, but marketing is marketing. I have never thought about myself as a “marketer.” Instead, I simply try to help examinees in the best way that I can. In fact, we do very little traditional marketing these days. One of the main reasons for that is this blog. By providing insights into the bar exam, examinees follow me here and some of those examinees become my students.
I am looking forward to speaking in front of other business owners and sharing with them how simply doing some good deeds can bring in a lot of leads. This is true for any business. If you plan on opening your own law firm, one of the best things you can do is to volunteer your time and offer your expertise to those who can not afford it. There are many ways to do this. I firmly believe that you should pay it forward. I know that sounds like a cliche. But, something seems to be missing these days and I think that something is kindness and civility and yes, offering someone, even a stranger, a helping hand.
